A message from St Paul’s Food Bank.
We don’t need to tell you of the unparalleled time the whole of the world finds itself in but we can tell you the actions we are taking here at St Paul’s Centre to continue serving the community as we have done over the last 30 odd years or so.
We are continuing with the foodbank; to give food is the most important role we can offer at the moment. We are working with Crewe Town Council and Cheshire East to set up a system If people cannot get to us we will have volunteer DBS checked drivers to deliver. In partnership with the YMCA we have created a collection point from their building where people from the south side of Crewe can collect food so reducing the need to travel.
Please carry on donating food. We are now only accepting food donations at our rear gates where a sign advises you on our process. To protect you and us, we will not have face to face conversations and request 2 metre social distancing. Alternatively, you could consider financial donations perhaps using the JustGiving website and searching for St Paul’s Centre.
