Reopening - Palm Sunday 28th March 2021
Updated: Apr 23
We have all missed meeting together for worship and being able to see each other during the Coronavirus Pandemic. Now that the third lockdown is being carefully released, our building will reopen on Palm Sunday 28 March 2021 at 10-30 a.m.
We shall continue to follow the Governments rules as we did at the end of last year.
As a reminder I am repeating those here:
Please enter the building by the new entrance from the car park and keep 2 metres distance from others at all times.
If you are feeling any symptoms which could be the virus i.e. High temperature, new continuous cough, loss of smell or taste or just not feeling well, please do NOT come to church.
Please will you follow government guidance on self-isolation after symptoms and/or positive test/contact tracing
You will be asked on arrival if you have any symptoms.
Any vulnerable/ shielding people should think carefully before attending.
You will be asked to use the hand sanitiser on arrival and departure.
We shall keep a note of names and contact details of all present to enable us to inform N.H.S. Track and Trace should one of us become ill with the virus.
There should be no physical contact between persons from different households/bubbles
It is mandatory (a legal requirement) to wear a face covering at all times.
Stewards will be on duty to help you and please follow their advice.
Windows and doors will be kept open weather permitting to allow for good ventilation.
Please sit where indicated – only people from the same household/bubble may sit together
There will be NO singing in the service
Please bring your own bible if you require to use it during the service.
All children will stay with their parents during the service.
Please do not gather in groups outside your own household following the service either indoors or on the car park.
We shall not be serving tea/coffee following the service
Please bring your own water/drink with you if you may require this during the morning.
It is your own decision whether you feel it is safe to attend church considering your own circumstances and your decision will be respected. We hope that the restrictions will be lifted in the near future but meanwhile we must follow the government's advice and keep us all safe.
Finally, please remember to put your clocks forward by one hour before retiring on Saturday 27 March for the start of British Summertime.
